Estimating Cost

We charge by the square foot. The pattern you have made may say your quilt should measure a certain size but we all have a slight difference in our seam allowance due to which machine we use.

Please measure your completed quilt top. Then proceed with costing.

For example, if your quilt measures 90 inches x 80 inches, then the Formula for pricing 90 Length in inches x 80 Width in inches = 7200 square inches 7200 square inches divided by 144 square inches = 50 square feet. 50 square feet x design continuous $2.90 = costing $145.00. Shipping cost is not included.

Machine Basting for the hand quilter
$1.10 per sq.ft. One direction.
$1.65 per sq.ft. Two directions.

Edge to Edge
$2.90 per sq.ft. Continuous quilting for these designs: Ric Rac, Loops, Tracks, Double Bud, Scroll, Swirl, Which Way Did They Go & Sprung.

 $3.10 per sq.ft. for all other continuous quilting designs. 

Stippling
$3.30per sq.ft. All over stippling (medium size only)
$3.60 per sq.ft. Any other stippling.

Custom
From $5.50 per sq.ft.

Binding Service
$9.35 per linear metre You supply fabric we make and attach straight binding and you hand stitch to finish.

NO basting required.

If you send backing and wadding please insure it is 12cm wider and longer than your quilt top. Remove selvedge before joining backing this enables the quilt backing to sit well. Also please note that the best quilting can only be achieved if your quilt is straight, example -borders and quilt lay flat, if this is not the case we will do our best. If we are in doubt we will contact you for instructions.
